Barbara Eaton 1964 Sting Ray These are pictures of a nearly 26 year love affair. That’s how long I have owned my Sting Ray. This was my very first Corvette. There have been others since, but this one is the “magic” that started it all for me. This is obviously not a stock car, but it is sure fun. I bought the car in San Diego, California on August 7, 1981 and she and I have seen a lot of life together. At the time that I got her she had been running auto cross in San Diego and eating up Porsches. Ask me sometime and I’ll show you the copy of the GM Corvette News that she is in. I have had this beauty longer than I have been married to Dave, and if you ask him what would happen if one or the other had to go, he’ll tell you he is in the process of packing. This car has a very special place in my heart and in my Last Will and Testament.
